One for all (decision making)

The method that I used to handle conflict during our class activity is "Collaborating" in which required bargaining and negotiation among group. I really appreciated the option that we chose at the end of class which was "dropping and curving". I think that was the best option for everyone. Although some of the student didn't like the idea. They said it was too easy to get the grade and it wasn't fair for them because of the fact that they had good grade. I strongly disagree with them because I didn’t do well on the exam. I got minus 18 points for the multiple choice part that I believe if I know the multiple choices part is multiple multiple choices; I would have done much better on the exam. I understand clearly the definition but I only chose one answer for the each question. I got minus 18 points for 6 questions. I end up getting a C for the test. So anyone still think this is not fair, please see the way "Accommodation" in the table "how to handle conflict" when you see issue as more important to other than self. That's true if every one can see that there wouldn't have been too much of argument. I think this is the best way to handle conflict.
Thank you the professor for giving us this opportunity to discuss our class problem.

I would have to agree that collaborations is the best method of hearing all sides and in the end choosing the best options which fits the goup. It's pretty rough how you didnt get that we had multiple-multiple choice on the exam. Not sure if thats an excuse to why we should have a drop and a curve though. Lets just consider ourselves lucky we have such a great professor. Although my grade for the test wasn't terrible I plan on studying much harder for our next one. It's basically worth more then the final. Although most think we got off easy, I see it as a huge incentive not to be able to relax now, but strive to get better ont he second one. Good luck. . . To all of us

Hey man, study harder and read the questions carefully the next time. I remember the professor said more than 3 times on the review day and on the test day that the multiple choice question has more than one correct answers. May be you was not able to hear clearly or not carefully, so be careful and pay attention to the question and especially more on the review day. Lastly, you can ask (if you have anything unclear, unsure, or simply do not understand at all).

I think some people brought up the idea of collaboration in the beginning of the disscussion, but as time went on, I think it was just ideas coming out from person to person. There was even another idea from another classmate at the last minute. As long as the majority of the class is happy with the outcome of the decision. I was glad, since I lost a bunch of points off the essay since I didn't know that material too much into detail.

I didn not do so well in the test also specially in the essay part, but since a lot of students still want the essay to be in the exam I agree with them. You are right about the multiple multiple choic, I think they were tricky but I hope it is going to be better the next exam.
